Snookers

What am I doing for Halloween? I don't know. Will I be dressed like snooki? DEFINITELY. I have this fantasy that there will be like 50 other Snookis wherever I am and it will be like an army of Guidettes. Can you imagine? All of us drunk, towlking (talking) like snook and maybe doing cartwheels in our tube dresses? ahhhhhh please god, let this happen.

Molly and I practiced for my costume on Tuesday. We also found some "gnarly teeth" at hirons. Naturally we combined the two.

two posts, one day.

I babysat little Livi this morning and we had a lot of fun watching elmo videos on youtube and eating tortillas on the front porch. It makes me feel really good that I'm one of her people, and she doesn't mind hanging out with me for a couple hours.

Right after I took this picture she said "zi-see nose" (I'm "zi-see" fyi)

Selfishly, I don't want Molly and Olivia to leave Eugene EVER. I want them to stay right here so I can watch her grow up, and actively participate in her life. Also, wtf am I supposed to do when my best friend is across the country AGAIN? I'm happy for her and her husband to finally be settled and have just their little family to worry about, but I'm going to miss them both terribly.

On a happier note....Molly and I bought Ipod touches today. SO AWESOME! can't wait to face time.

TALL BOY

I've been hanging out with a gentleman someone. We've been doing a lot of this :

Swimming on our first date

Making out on his couch when we're supposed to be watching movies

He rides a motorcycle! He took me on a ride and it was unexpectedly sexy. I was behind him gripping him with my thighs and holding on for dear life around his tight abs. That last sentence made me blush all over again. I'm having so much fun!!

Anyways, he is super cool, super smart, SUPER cute. It's reminiscent of a high school crush, but in a good way! I like him, and it scares me, and then I remember what Neko Case said...

I don't care if forever never comes, cause I'm holding out for that teenage feeling.

And that makes me feel so good.

Shmeah Shmuckley

"Belly buttons bring people together"

I got to meet the famous Leah Buckley (leah writes a really cute blog Delight in Life) this past Saturday! It was so fun being able to surprise Molly, and so cool to meet Leah and her sister Cara. We laughed a lot, hugged a lot, sweated a lot, ate a lot of pizza and had a really great time. Molly has really good taste in friends. DUHHH

omg! i'm a blogger now!

This blog was born one late summer night in Molly's back yard. We had had at least two strong vodka tonics and were taking turns cracking up and having some serious life discussions. Our conversation went something like this:

L: I feel like a lot of people make a lot of stupid choices and I don't want that to happen to me, I'm not making a wrong decision am I?

M: No, you're not. I'm proud of you for making difficult choices to ultimately make yourself happy. YOU CAN'T BE OBJECTIVE IN YOUR OWN LIFE.

(This is a general conversation that represents all of our conversations for the few weeks while I was in serious change mode. )

Anyways, that statement made us laugh, because, I mean, DUH. But it really is true, and that is so hilarious.

Soooo...I guess this is my very first blog post! YAY!
